¡¡¡¡Located 13 kms west to the City of Xiangfan,Mt.Longzhong is the living and farming place of Zhuge Liang,a distinguishing statesman,strategist and thinker in the Three Kingdoms Period,who spent there from 17 years old to 27.Many historic events,such as Liu Bei's Three Visits to Zhuge Liang,Longzhong Instruction on Central China in Trisections to Liu Bei by Zhuge Liang,took place here.The hill is not high but gorgeous enough,the water is not deep yet clear enough,the terrain is not wide but smooth enough,the forest is not big but thick enough.It's now state 4A level scenic spot and under special protection.
 
 
 
 
 
     
   
     
 
¡¡¡¡2800 years ago,the King Xuan of the Zhou Dynasty offered the land where the City of Xiangfan lies to one of his subordinate named Zhongshanpu,who founded the State of Fan.So Xiangfan City is a cradal for the Chu Culture.Zhuge Liang once spent ten years in the Mountain LongZhong farming and learning when he was young. Many historic sites related to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms are right here:the Feng Pass, the stream across which Liu Bei once rode on his horse back running for his life shen he was driven by his enemy, the Shuijing Manor where Sima Hui recommended Zhuge Liang to Liu Bei,the Temple of Xu Shu,the site where Guan Yu destroyed enemy troops by flooding. Xiangyang City has been known as the "Ironed Xiangyang" for its tall city wall 7377 meters in perimeter and wide moat over 250 meters at most.Xiangfan is also a place of religion,the Taoist temple on the top of the Hill of Zhenwu,the Guangde Temple is closely related to Shi Dao'an,to whose family name of all the Buddhists were aligned.Cheng'en Temple,Lumen Temple,Baishui Temple and Baizhuyuan Temple all enjoy nation wide popularity.The Catholic Church was built by missionaries from west Europe in the end of Qing Dynasty.
